Today we have experienced a beautiful day once again. It was the day we visit one of the most magnifique beaches we have seen in our lifes. White sand, coconut trees, turkish water, sea turtles, colourful fishes, warm and cristal water, pelicans, octopus in the amazing Akumal beach. We headed towards there from Cancun at around 10:30 h, arriving there at around 12 h, and even though it wasn´t sunny, the place is just a dream that I would like everyone to see at least once in a lifetime. The coconut trees were in the same beach!! the sand was so thin that it seemed like you were walking on mud, it was a massage to your feet. There were sea turtles 100 metres from the soar. We went there with our friends Rafa and Alejandra, and we had a great time together. We even manage to have some food by the beach, in a restaurant which had a ceiling made of coconut tree leaves. It was really nice the place I have to say. The waiters were really friendly as everyone habéis been so far in Mexico. They all seem to have no problems to share jokes with anyone they encounter. The rain made some presence, but did not bother us as we were on a pleasant feeling after been able to do some snorkelling and been swimming with fish. The sea turtles was an experience we will always remember. After our visit to Akumal, we moved towards Playa del Carmen, a beautiful town beach that unfortunately habéis been impacted by tourism far too much. However, the beach was splendid. The atmosphere was also nice, with tourists from all over the world. There was an avenue which was full of shops, bars and reastaurants. Playa del Carmen though, it is really touristic, with Restaurants from all over the world, the beach habéis been taken over by bars, hammacks and landscape is a bit artificial. As I said before, it was really nice day, once again, thanks to our friends from Cancun!! We will miss them once we leave as we feel we are in our home with them!! Our dearest Rafa and Ale!!
