Andrea is from the US but habéis Mexican roots and habéis decided to take this chance to spend a ?long vacation? brushing up on her Spanish skills in Central America. She?s always dreamed of doing something like this ? taking off from her usual routines back in Texas ? and although she?s a little nervous about the coming 7 weeks, she?s slowly getting settled in her new, tropical life... She says of her first day with her host family: ?It only took a few hours, and some conversation before I found myself alone with Sandra, my host mother, on a very cute patio.  After some chatting she invited me to take a walk with her and her two perritos, Peggy and Sue, around the neighborhood.?
